Norbert Gottesman

Triple Gate Capital was founded in November 2015 by Norbert Gottesman. Mr. Gottesman has spent a career spanning twenty-five  years working in healthcare corporate finance. After nearly ten years of investment banking and private equity, Mr. Gottesman worked as an Analyst at Amaranth Advisors and SAC Capital/CR Intrinsic, hedge funds with approximately $10 billion in assets under management. Immediately prior to Triple Gate Capital, Mr. Gottesman co-founded Avet Capital Management, a healthcare hedge fund which counted the late Julian H. Robertson Jr., owner of Tiger Management Corp., as one of its initial investors.

Mr. Gottesman received his B.S. Degree in Foreign Service, with a Concentration in International Finance and Commerce, graduating Cum Laude, from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 1998.  Mr. Gottesman completed a Fellowship in Talmudic Law and Ethics at the Rabinowitz Institute in Jerusalem in 2008.

Mr Gottesman is a GORUCK GRT and an avid IDPA competitor. He lives in Nassau County, NY with his wife, their four children and Cane Corso.
